About Keith Reilly

Hi, & thanks for taking the time to get to know me, I appreciate it.

I’ll be upfront about this right from the start – I’m a geek!
There, I said it. I love all things ‘techy’. I enjoy fixing things; Learning about new technology is one of my passions; I try to keep up with the world of science, all of science. My qualifications include an HND in Micro-Electronics, I’m a qualified electrician and also a qualified plumber. My first ‘computer’ was one I built in 1981, the Sinclair ZX81 – it was nothing like the all-singing, all-dancing computers of today. It had only 1K of memory, yes 1K & no hard drive.
That was the beginning of a love affair with computers, then the internet, and ultimately internet marketing.

I joined the REME in the British Army as an electronics technician in 1979, and have been involved in building, fixing and servicing some form of computer ever since.
I first got involved in making money online, like most people, with eBay. I’d got sick of trying to earn a little extra money by getting up at silly-o’clock on a Sunday morning, to go and stand in the cold and rain at a car boot sale. I thought there had to be a better way, and then someone showed me eBay. I put up a few things I wanted to get rid of, and some of them sold. I thought that this could be easy money, but it was a lot harder than I thought. I slogged and slogged in my spare time, while holding down a full time job to keep a roof over our heads. I even made it to “PowerSeller” for a while. Unfortunately, no matter how popular an item is, it eventually goes out of fashion and you need to find the next big thing to sell.
So I started looking around outside of eBay. I thought that there had to be better ways to earn money online, and I found that there was. I discovered ‘internet marketing’. It all seemed so easy – buld a little site, place a few links, add some adsense adverts, you’ll be rich by tea-time! Oh, if only it was so easy. I have spent the last few years bouncing around, earning little bits here and there, but I think I’ve spent more trying to earn money, than I’ve actually earned.
So now I’ve decided to invest in my future. I’ve invested in Dean Holland’s “Quick Start Challenge” course. It’s been said – “if you want to make money, find someone who is already successful, and do what they do”, or even better, get them to teach you. So I got me a mentor!
No idea where this is going to lead me, but I do know that it’s going to help me to become successful, so watch this space.

  1. Hi Keith. Nice job on the site. You’re “techiness”is an asset when you have to do stuff like graphics and headers. I’m more creative content gifted and struggle with the tech stuff.

Best wishes in the 30 Day Challenge!

  2. Hey Keith

I really love the look of your blog. It’s so easy to read and I love the fact it’s info without the BS! I sure wish you lived near by because it’s very hard to find someone you can trust who really knows computers and how to fix them! I do hope the Quick Start Challenge is as easy and successful as computers for you!

  3. It’s finally nice to see your site. I kept seeing your post up on the group, which got me thinking “he must be the monitor”of the group. Anyway I think you doing a great job in helping others in the group and should be doing very well in the future if you going to keep going like this.

  4. My favourite Geeks were “RE-e-e-e-e-eeMEs.
I was a Pronto, a scaleyback, but just “Jimmy” to you guys.
My hammer throwing OC LAD used to chide me for always organising the statistics better than he could but actually I only copied his work style when (as the Regt 2IC) I used to vet it before the CO saw it!! Haha (Discus throwers aren’t all as daft as they look y’know).
