So, you’ve managed to add Google Analytics to your blog. Your website is doing well, and it’s time to branch out, get yourself another website. Of course, you’re going to want to add some analytics to this site too. Keep an eye on the traffic, sort of thing.
So you go to your analytics account, and you pull up my previous tutorial, to make sure you get it right….but it’s all different! yeah, they make it relatively simple to sign up and add your first site, but then go and hide how to add more sites. A bit silly really, as you’re allowed to add up to 100 sites.
So without further ado, here’s how to add more sites: –
Sign in to your analytics account. If you have more than one account, make sure you’re signed in to the right one 🙂
Click on the “Admin” tab at the top.
Here you will see 3 columns – ‘Account’, ‘Property’ & ‘View’
Click on the ‘Account’ column, and select “Create new Account”
This now takes you to the page you saw when adding your first site to Google Analytics.
You can just fill in the details like you did before, copy the code and add it to your new site.
In my next tutorial, I will cover how to delete a website from your analytics account
